the brief

Commercial design work can be dull, so a group of designer friends and I formed Crème CoIIectif; where we take turns setting creative briefs and indulge our creative minds.

During the covid pandemic I set the 'Reasons to be Cheerful' brief - a public campaign to remind people to find the small positives in what was often a frightening and stressful situation.

the solution

A poster series that contrasts positive elements of 'the new normal' against the past, utilising a simple illustrative style, humorous tone and a bright, happy colour palette.
